“Can NAS get to the Next Level?” seeks to answer questions regarding perceived limitations of speed, performance and scalability, while outlining the future of NAS by analyzing its long-term prospects. Norris will discuss the work Rainfinity is doing to shape the future of NAS with the development of a standards-based global namespace through the IETF NFS v4 work group as well as the development of industry standard data classification models through the SNIA ILM Technical Work Group.

In addition to participating in the conference speaking events, Rainfinity will be exhibiting its RainStorage™ Network File Virtualization™ technology in Booth No. 338 June 7-9. RainStorage is changing the future of NAS by providing IT managers the means to implement, manage and scale storage resources while ensuring continuous data access.

Storage World Conference is focused on making storage networking and management education more accessible to all users, from the SMB to the large-scale enterprise. SWC's widely recognized continuing education program features an expanded slate of speakers and an all-encompassing list of storage and business topics.
